In my past, I have owned several medium sized telecommunications companies. We have watched our industry downsize rapidly, and this has forced us to move our business on many occasions. I have used the most "reputable" companies to transfer our very valuable assets. I was not satisfied once. Our entire staff was in shock after each move. A lot of our equipment was damaged, and the insurance these companies provide serve no purpose at all. I believe we had items missing after each and every move. I could not help but compare this to the baggage people at the airport, and how famous they are for rummaging through our belongings. The worst aspect of all these moves was saved for the bill at the end. Every single time we were charged more than twice what we were quoted. Quotes are useless, because there are too many unforeseen situations in every move. But it's the miscellaneous charges that really got my blood boiling. I then went to Craigslist and found movers for my personal moves. One company and I use the term "company" loosely, quoted me $700 per truckload but changed their quote to $2,800 after the truck was loaded. Then they informed me they could not perform the rest of the move because of truck problems. Ironically, this helped launch a new moving company. I will provide you options for insurance, and if you are a residential move, please check your homeowner’s insurance policy to see if you have additional coverage. I will provide you new Penske trucks exclusively, as we have a corporate relationship with them. I can also provide packing services, along with packing materials. We even provide cleaning services for after the move. Our customers love this aspect more than any, because no other moving company provides this service. We are much different than any other moving company, and it will show the very first minute we arrive to work for you. We actually love the work we do, and we love our customers and put their needs first.
